The Pulse of IU Nursing

From the Dean
Janet S. Carpenter, PhD, RN, FAANCelebrating Nursing Service and Impact Across the State
In this issue, we highlight members of our Indiana University School of Nursing community who embody purposeful service. Nursing is a profession where collaboration and compassion shape healthier futures, and our featured stories reflect the impact that dedicated individuals can have on the lives around them.
You’ll meet a student making an early impact, an alum leading with dedication, and donors whose generosity helps expand opportunities for future nurses. Although their roles are different, each contributes meaningfully to the wellbeing of Hoosiers across the state.
As you read their stories, I hope you share our inspiration. Thank you for supporting our School of Nursing community and the neighbors we serve.
